Ya, ignore the alcohol boxes they make for good moving boxes ok? |
A few weeks ago, Trevor encountered a job posting through a friend of his who is currently teaching school in South Korea. The job was to teach English at a private school in a city called Ulsan. At first, he just treated the job opening with nonchalance, but after some encouragement from his ever supportive wife ;) it was agreed that he at least apply for the job and see what would happen. After doing some research on the job and contacting his friend, we quickly became very excited that this job might be a legitimate possibility for our futures. And, as I'm sure several of our loved ones may be reading this, let me just say we are deeply sorry to have not mentioned any of this beforehand. We didn't want to get anyone unnecessarily anxious before we knew for sure whether or not we had a job offer. As it currently stands, Trevor had an interview the other evening which seemed to me to go very well and the next day, we got the notification that Hyundai Chung-un High School wanted Trevor as an English teacher. Squeaks of excitement and big hugs were exchanged and the hysteria pursued as we contacted parents and siblings to tell them the news. As of right now, we are already in the processes of packing up our lives as we gave our landlords our 30 day moving notice. So with all that, send us prayers and wish us luck as we embark on the journey of a lifetime!
